I hope the first Stormlight Archive trailer we ever get is we just see the people from all over Roshar getting ready for a highstorm. You see these people calmly going into their homes and bunkers. No panic, maybe a little annoyance but it’s just an everyday occurrence. The audience is confused as to what exactly a “highstorm” is. And why are they setting our large marbles?

Then the grass starts to quiver and then goes down. The sky gets dark and in distance you can see the wall coming.

Headcanon that when Scadrial invents the internet Marsh immediately gets a blog because it’s a platform where he can interact with people without freaking them out!  He can finally learn to have real conversations with people he hasn’t known for centuries!

Most of his posts are totally innocuous, like:

“When my brother learned about allomancy for the first time he ate an entire spoon.  It wasn’t even a burnable metal.”

“At my last job I completely faked my resume, lied through my teeth in every single interview, and got immediately fast tracked to a promotion so don’t let anyone tell you honesty is the best policy.”

“I’m pretty sure Kel drew something on my face.  Milan says he didn’t but I can hear her giggling.  Family is the worst.”

Others just read as hyperbole:

“I have had a headache since the Final Empire.  @ Harmony why.”

“I once left my brother alone.  He started two major religions and punched god.”

Then there’s the ones that are just weird:

“I’ve been doing this job for centuries and Saze has literally never payed me.  Is he even my boss?  Do I even have a job?  What am I doing with my life?”

“My brother is threatening another family vacation.  We’ve already been banned from Elantris AND the Court of the Gods this is getting ridiculous.  His top choices are Braize and Threnody.  I only have a century of health stored that’s not enough for this.”

“When I took that job I thought I’d be dead in a year and the Empire would continue for centuries.  Guess I got it backwards.”

He’s not super popular or anything but he has a few mutuals who eventually gather that

1. He has a brother named Kel who is an absolute wild man, and possibly a niece
   
2. His maybe-boss is named Saze, and they’ve known each other for ages
   
3. He only has like five friends IRL.  Milan and TS are mentioned most frequently, although there’s a few others who are only referred to in past tense
   
4. He’s alluded to enough metals that he’s apparently a full Mistborn, and at least a Gold Ferring if not a full Feruchemist.
   
5. He knows an absurd amount of information about history
   
6. He’s almost certainly Ironeyes.
